Stunning collection of cottages in a very scenic location just outside of Swellendam, right up against the mountains. Close enough to have dinners in town (Swellendam has some great restaurants) but far enough to feel like you are in the countryside. The cottages are fully equipped and have everything you need though if you prefer to cook or braai. The owners are super friendly and Promise, the manager, is amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to visit in Summer to make use of the pool!

The four of us had a wonderful comfortable stay. Beautifully appointed fully equipped cottages. We were warm and the beds super comfortable. The friendly staff helpful and available (if needed). The Hamlet has a calm beautiful safe energy. A class of its own. We will definitely be returning.

This luxuriously appointed cottage on a working farm has magnificent views of the Langeberg. It’s situated in the Hermitage Valley close to Swellendam and the Marloth Reserve. What a little gem on a little farm! Exquisite views, near to golf course, restaurants and shops. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and with everything you need for a quiet getaway.

Beautifully appointed cottage with all the amenities one could wish for . Carolyn was an excellent & engaged host with loads of ideas & relevant info about Swellendam . The mountain views & friendly cows made us feel like we had stepped back to a time when things were simpler . We really enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back .
